Our History

Albion Agencies is the oldest and largest insurance agency in Orleans County. Our agency has been in continuous operation since 1844, and had been owned and operated within the Haines family from 1919-2018. Originally founded as a fire insurance agency, our firm has grown to be a full-service insurance agency. Even though our look may have changed over the years, we remain committed to the citizens and businesses of our community.

The agency offers a full range of products and services. For personal clients, we offer homeowners, auto, classic auto, recreational vehicle, boat, flood, life, and various other coverages. Our business accounts are tailored to meet the needs of each client, and can include auto, property, liability, workers compensation, bonds and other coverages.
